10 years after it first published in 2010, the Semi-autobiography of author Tina Kisil's - Footprints in The Paddy Fields still remains a favourite read by locals and Sabahans abroad. For it evokes nostalgia. A simpler and innocent live albeit hardships living in the village or kampung.

It has been read even by a former Sabah Minister of Tourism, Datuk Masidi Manjun.

The book was written at the behest of the author's ailing sister who was battling cancer, whom sadly lost the battle but not before the draft manuscript became her source of entertainment while bedridden.

The book is the author's goodbye to her sister. Recollecting their idylic lives in the Kampung.

It is available in Amazon.com.
